This photographic image by William Weaver Baker shows the full extent of the Norbreck Hydro in Blackpool. The Norbreck Hydro was located in Norbreck Castle Hotel which originally began as a country house welcoming visitors in the late nineteenth century. The Castle Hotel was designed with crenellations along the top of all the buildings, giving the appreance of a defensive castle. This is one of a series of photographs Weaver Baker produced in 1935 of Blackpool.
