pitcher handle (pitcher (sherd))


This handle is a fragment from a pitcher which was made in Normandy, France. It was discovered during excavations in Exeter and is one of only a few fragments of this type of pottery known from Exeter.

This object is on display at RAMM in the Making History gallery.
