This image by William Weaver Baker records the inside of the Exeter Guildhall. For hundreds of years the Guildhall was the historic law court for the city, and this image shows the building in its format as a courtroom. Weaver Baker was very interested in historic architecture and photographed many ancient buildings in and around Exeter.
