leaf-shaped arrowhead (arrowhead)
Descriptions
This leaf-shaped arrowhead was found at the Neolithic site at Hembury in Devon. These arrowheads were used for hunting and warfare and replaced the microliths that were used in the Mesolithic. This example seems to have been broken whilst being made or used.
This object is on display at RAMM in the Making History gallery.
