Magic Lantern Slide: Lancet Window in Polsloe Priory, Exeter -- 13th Century (slide)

This lantern slide shows the lancet window in the Polsloe Priory in Exeter, the slight has been captured in an elegant and powerful manner which is something Baker likes to ascertain in his lantern slides. This window was constructed in the 13th century and is very long vertically making it quite narrow, this is part of the slide collection acquired in 1977.

William Weaver Baker was a keen local amateur photographer and his collection of lantern slides offer a rare glimpse of Exeter and the surrounding area in the early twentieth century.
