Seaton Down Hoard coin, nummus of Constantine I (coin)
Descriptions
A nummus of the type that weighed 1/96 of a pound. Made in AD 317-324 in Lyon, it is one of the earlier nummi from the Seaton Down hoard. The coin shows two bound captives and celebrates the military victory over the Emperors enemies.
