Descriptions

The Huari culture became a dominant power in the central highlands at a time when the Moche were in decline. They interacted with the cultures around them; the highland Tiahuanaco of modern day Bolivia and the Nazca. The sacred pan-Andean feline-headed serpent motif appears on this vessel.
