  1. I have just been looking at the Will of his son Matthew who mentions this portrait of his father by Opie. Matthew was a banker in London and his daughter Mary married John Savery also a banker in Bristol. John was a widower whose first marriage was to Sarah Butler Clark whose parents Peter and Elizabeth are buried in the Dissenters Graveyard in Exeter. And now I have a loose link for them back to Micaiah who is also buried in the graveyard. It all seems to boil down to religion!
