This chalk drawing by PH Gosse depicts various life stages of a particularly beautiful sea slug. Gosse reproduced this drawing on plate 4 of his book ‘A year at the shore’. The distribution of this species (Facelina auriculata) is very patchy across the UK but it can be found in Devon.
This object is on display at RAMM in the Finders Keepers gallery.
