Descriptions

Small needle-case, hand-stitched in cross-stitch on punched card, front cover worked with alphabet (capitals) and numerals 1-9 in cross-stitch; back cover worked with alphabet (lower case) and words ‘For dear Pollie.’ Lined and bound with blue silk, with matching blue silk ties. There are two textile fragments inside - a piece of lace and some whitework embroidery stitched to lining.
