faunal bone assemblage (bead)


A single bead found on a site with Bronze Age pottery and moulds for casting bronze swords and rapiers. The bead is made from serpentine, a type of rock found on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall. Exotic materials such as this were valued in the Bronze Age.
