Descriptions

This prospectus advertised the nursing training available at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in the 1960s. It provided prospective students with information on the history of the hospital, details of what they would learn, and how much they could expect to get paid. At the time the hospital would only accept students between the ages of 18-30 and female students had to live in the nurses home on site, returning home by 11pm each evening. Male students were permitted to find their own accommodation during their studies.
