Painted from memory by the artist. The Farthing Breakfasts were called this because they were paid for by farthing donations. The Breakfast was in Cricklepit Lane then in Exe Island and then at the Mission Hall in Coombe Street for poor children served of Exeter in the 1920s/30s.

This object is on display at RAMM in Gallery 22.
