‘On the River Dart between Totnes and Dartmouth’ by John Wallace Tucker, c. 1869. Tucker’s landscape in oils shows a clearing beside a river: a stone and thatch cottage with a water pool beside it to the right. A man on a horse points across the river to a woman holding a basket. Boats are seen on the water.
