Spear thrower (miru)

Description
Miru is the Pitjantjatjara name for spear thrower in Central Australia.
This spear-thrower is made of light coloured wood and not very well made. Its peg is missing but was attached using kangaroo sinew tied around the end. Its short length suggests that it was made for a child.
