Leaf-shaped arrowhead
- Description
- This leaf-shaped arrowhead was found at the Neolithic site at Hembury in Devon. These arrowheads were used for hunting and warfare and replaced the microliths that were used in the Mesolithic. The fine shape was formed by pressing small flakes of stone off the original flake.
