Button stud

Description
These studs are made in gilt with star pattern in black. Cuff studs and cuff links became an essential part of a gentleman’s wardrobe in the mid to late nineteenth century. Cuffs did not have buttons sewn on as many do today but were loose and had to be fastened with something.
