This flounce was made by Charlotte Treadwin at her shop in Cathedral Close, Exeter. It was designed as a garniture for a dress but has since been adapted. Reputedly designed for the Duchess of Albany it is known as the Albany flounce. The design is carried out in East Devon (Honiton) lace.
