Pig or boar tusk

A single pig or boar tusk collected during a post-war rescue excavation of a multi-period site in historic Exeter. The site uncovered important Roman evidence and has been published. This tusk is thought to be the only surviving faunal bone from the excavation. It was not included in the main project archive so has not been studied.
