Magic Lantern Slide: Map - Part of City of Exeter

Description
The image on this magic lantern slide is a photograph of a map. The map shows ‘The Castle Yarde’ and the surrounding area in Exeter. Outside the castle walls are fields of trees, and at the bottom right of the map there appears to be a settlement of houses. The photograph was taken by William Weaver Baker who had an interest in the history of Exeter and he probably used it as a lecture slide.
