Glass plate negative of St Nicholas Priory undercroft

This image records the undercroft inside St Nicholas Priory, Exeter in the early 20th century. The building was purchased and restored by the City Council between 1913 and 1916 and this photograph shows it after that transformation.

The image is captured on a glass plate negative and has been digitally inverted here to a positive image, as it would appear if printed as a photograph. It is part of a set recording historic buildings in Exeter, but there is no record of the photographer’s name.
