Magic Lantern Slide: Men working at site making large containers
- Description
- This photographic slide by Alfred Oliver Rowden shows workmen in a yard surrounded by very large pots. It is unclear if they are making these pots, or filling them with material. Rowden was in Mesopotamia during the First World War and was not sent home until 1919 or 1920. He photographed scenes like this to record his experiences.
