Magic Lantern Slide: A.O.R. washing pyjamas on P.S. boat

Description
This slide shows Alfred Oliver Rowden wearing his military uniform and washing his pyjamas on the deck of a boat. The letters P.S. in the slide title probably indicate this was a paddle steamer vessel. There are two other men on the boat, one soldier who is carrying a bucket and a brush, perhaps to start his washing. Rowden was in Mesopotamia during the First World War and was not sent home until 1919 or 1920. He took photographs like this to record his daily life and surroundings.
