This photograph by Alfred Oliver Rowden shows the rest camp at Baghdad after he had travelled there by boat. Standing in front of the tent is a group of men wearing desert military uniform. The slide is part of a set of photographs he took while in Mesopotamia, where he served during the First World War and remained until 1919 or 1920.
