Oil lamp
- Description
-
The central hole in this oil lamp shows it was designed to be attached to a stand. Its shape suggests it was made in Greece, but unfortunately no records survive to record where it was found. It was collected by Lieutenant Colonel Montague whose collection of over 800 classical archaeological objects is an important resource in the museum collections.
