Oil lamp

Description
This lamp was described by its collector as ‘Galliput shaped; long nozzle; pale colour, 3.5 in. by 2.5 in. Found in EGYPT. (Lawrence Coll.)’. It belonged to Lieutenant Colonel Montague who collected over 800 classical archaeological objects, which he bequeathed to the museum on his death.
