Figurine of two young boys wrestling, which was a very popular Greek sport for men as it combined skill and physical fitness. The figurine is made of painted terracotta and measures approximately 10cm high.
It belonged to Lieutenant Colonel Montague who collected over 800 classical archaeological objects, which he bequeathed to the museum on his death. - Accession Loan No.
