Fragment of a monumental inscription

Description
The inscription on this fragment records the Roman names Tiberius, Livius, Maximus and Gelonius, written in the Greek alphabet. These men were probably officials of a Roman town in Greece, but it was not recorded where the stone came from.
the memorial belonged to Lieutenant Colonel LAD Montague who collected over 800 classical archaeological objects, which he bequeathed to the museum on his death.
