Common swift

Description
We strongly associate swifts with buildings so it may be difficult to imagine that in the past they probably nested in forests or on riverside cliffs. Remarkably, they spend most of their lives on the wing; eat, drink and sleep whilst flying.

They go into thatched cottages to make their nests.

I like to sit in the garden. I feed the birds but I don’t know their names.
