Angular jar

Description
This is a round-based Bichrome Ware vessel jar decorated with horizontal black and red bands from the middle of the body to the neck. The body splays out then sharply inclines, giving an angular shape to the sloping shoulder that flares out to the round neck. It is one of many objects found in “tombs in the neighbourhood of Paphos” and given to the museum in 1910.
