Harpoon head

Description
This tool was made for the hunting of ocean mammals. The origin of the toggle harpoon is complex and extremely old. It consists of two pieces of bone joined together that would have once held a pointed slate, shell or later an iron blade. The cord is made from animal sinew bound with bark.
