The Research Collection At RAMM

RAMM’s collection contains over one million objects and the museum actively encourages academic research from people working within the UK and international organisations. The Research Opportunities page lists some of the smaller categories which the curators have identified as research priorities.

The Research Blog shares research findings. Please contact RAMM if you would like to share your recent research on RAMM’s collections here.

Numerous other themes can be explored using the collections and the museum welcomes enquiries to access the collections, undertake research and develop partnership working. If you are an academic researcher and would like further information about the objects within RAMM’s collection please contact the relevant curator.

The Research Collection at RAMM web resource was created in 2014 with support from the Esmee Fairbairn Collections Fund.
